To make more space available, disks can be extended.

Extending a disk requires that there be a disk available with free space to accommodate the extension.

Start the vSphere Client and log in to the vCenter Server that manages the backup appliance.

Check to ensure no operations are currently being completed on the disk.

Select Inventory > Hosts and Clusters.

Select the appropriate hard drive and increase the size.

The disk is hot extended, but it is necessary to wait for a few minutes for the operating system to recognize the updated disk configuration. If the disk is not recognized, consider rebooting the backup appliance.
