When you create a new disk, you can specify disk properties such as size, format, clustering features, and more.

Specify the size of the disk in Megabytes, Gigabytes, or Terabytes.

You can change the size of the disk later, and add additional disks Virtual Machine Properties dialog box.

(Optional) If you want your disk to be in thin format, select Allocate and commit space on demand (Thin Provisioning).

(Optional) If you want to use clustering features, select Support clustering features such as Fault Tolerance.

Specify whether you want to store the virtual disk file on the same datastore as the virtual machine files, or whether you want to store them on a separate datastore.
