During installation, you specify the vCenter Network Adapter settings. You can later reconfigure the vCenter Network Adapter settings by editing the settings in the Data Director UI.

Log in to Data Director as a system administrator, click the System tab, and select Administration.

Click the Network Setup tab, and click Edit Network Setup.

If necessary, enable or disable DHCP or Static IP.

Click Edit.

Toggle the DHCP check box to enable or disable DHCP.

Toggle the Static IP check box to enable or disable static IP, and enter the netmask if Static IP is enabled.

Click OK.

In the Network Adapters section, edit the network adapter text boxes, and click Next.

Click Next again.

Click Finish to confirm and save the changes.

The changes take effect immediately.

Verify the IP address change in the vSphere Client.

Log in to vSphere Client as an administrator.

Select the Management Server virtual machine.

Click the Summary tab, and examine the IP Addresses line.

Click View all to check all IP addresses.
