Basic database properties include the database name, its UUID, JDBC connection string, storage allocation, its version, and database owner account. You can view and change the values for these properties.

You are logged in to your organization as a DBA or application developer with appropriate privileges on the database.

The database is running.

Click the organization's Manage & Monitor tab and select the database group.

Right-click the database name, and select Properties.

Click the Basic tab and view the properties, using the scroll bar as necessary.

You cannot change the database name, UUID, or JDBC connection string.

To change the storage allocation for the database or point-in-time recovery, enter new values in the Basic tab text boxes.

Add or change tags for the database.

Click Edit next to the Tags text box.

Enter tags, one per line.

Click OK.

To add a new database owner account, select the New owner account checkbox, and click Edit.

Type the database owner account name and password .

Type the password in the Confirm password field.

Click OK to accept the new owner account.

Click OK to accept your changes.
