During installation, you configure the DB Name Service Network and the DB Name Service Network Adapter. You can later reconfigure the DB Name Service Network or the DB Name Service Network Adapter by editing the settings in the Data Director UI.

Log in to Data Director as a system administrator.

Click the System tab, and select System Settings.

Expand Other Settings and click Network.

In the Network tab, click Edit Network Settings.

Click Next to skip vCenter Network setup.

To reconfigure the DB Name Service Network mapping, select the appropriate network mapping in the DB Name Service Network drop-down menu, and click Next.

Click Edit next to the network name to enable or disable DHCP or static IP on a network.

Select the DHCP check box to enable DHCP.

Select the Static IP check box and enter a netmask to enable static IP.

Click OK.

To change the DB Name Server network adapter setting, select DHCP or Static IP and enter an FQDN.

If you select static IP, enter the IP address.

Click Finish to commit your changes.
