A one VLAN network configuration includes only one network. Due to performance and security considerations, this configuration is not suitable for production.

This configuration requires DHCP or IP pool on the shared (vCenter Server, Web Console, and Internal) network and the DB Access network. To handle internal management traffic, assign at least as many IP addresses as the number of databases to the DHCP range or the IP pool. See Data Director Networks, IP Allocation, and Firewalls.

Because all network traffic is carried by one network, you cannot isolate databases into different networks. You also cannot separate internal traffic from other network traffic. Use this configuration only during development.
