You can remove a resource pool if you want the Hadoop clusters that you create in the management server deployed under a different resource pool. Removing a resource pool removes the reference to the resource pool in vSphere. The resource pool is not actually removed.

Delete all Hadoop clusters deployed within this resource pool in vSphere. See Delete A Cluster.

1

Log into the Data Director for Hadoop Web console.

2

Expand Resources and select Resource Pools.

3

Right-click a resource pool and select Remove.

4

Click Yes.

The reference to the resource pool in vSphere is removed from the management server.
