With the Monitoring policy, you can enable or disable NetFlow monitoring on a distributed port.

Launch the vSphere Client and log in to a vCenter Server system.

Log in to the vSphere Client and select the Networking inventory view.

Select the vSphere distributed switch in the inventory pane.

On the Ports tab, right-click the port to modify and select Edit Settings.

Select Policies.

In the Monitoring group, select NetFlow status.

Disabled

NetFlow is disabled on the port.

Enabled

NetFlow is enabled on the port. You can configure NetFlow settings at the distributed switch level. See Configure NetFlow Settings.
