Power Namespace

The Power namespace provides commands for managing the power state of a virtual machine.

List of commands:



Get Command

dcli com vmware vcenter vm power get

Description

Returns the power state information of a virtual machine.

Options

Option Name Type Required Description
vm string Yes Virtual machine identifier. The parameter must be an identifier for the resource type: VirtualMachine.

Example

dcli com vmware vcenter vm power get --vm testId


Start Command

dcli com vmware vcenter vm power start

Description

Powers on a powered-off or suspended virtual machine.

Stop Command

dcli com vmware vcenter vm power stop

Description

Powers off a powered-on or suspended virtual machine.

Description
