Routes Namespace

Routes namespace provides commands Performs networking routes operations.

Test Command

dcli com vmware appliance techpreview networking routes test

Description

Test connection to a list of gateways

Options

Option Name Type Required Description
gateways string Yes list of gateways.

Add Command

dcli com vmware appliance techpreview networking routes add

Description

Set static routing rules. A destination of 0.0.0.0 and prefix 0 (for IPv4) or destination of :: and prefix 0 (for IPv6) refers to the default gateway.

Options

Option Name Type Required Description
destination string Yes Destination address that defines this route.
prefix int Yes Destination CIDR prefix that defines this route. See http://www.oav.net/mirrors/cidr.html for netmask-to-prefix conversion.
gateway string Yes Gateway address.
interface‑name string Yes Output device interface, for example, "nic0".

Description
