When you apply the vRealize Code Stream standalone license to a vRealize Automation appliance, you enable the vRealize Code Stream capabilities.

You can use the vRealize Code Stream standalone license to enable pipeline modeling, pipeline execution, and the release dashboard.

You can have the vRealize Automation appliance run vRealize Code Stream or the vRealize Code Stream Management Pack for IT DevOps by selecting the Enable vRealize Code Stream check box when you submit the license key.

This selection also appears in the vRealize Code Stream Installation Wizard. See vRealize Code Stream Installation.

Caution

Before you enable vRealize Code Stream, verify that High Availability (HA) is not running on the vRealize Automation appliance.

Important

If you apply your license without enabling vRealize Code Stream, you can enable vRealize Code Stream later. Apply the license again, and select Enable vRealize Code Stream.
