Start the deployment of vRealize Operations Manager in the consolidated cluster by deploying the nodes of the analytics cluster and the remote collector group.

1

Before you deploy vRealize Operations Manager, verify that your environment satisfies the requirements for this deployment.

2

Use the vSphere Web Client to deploy the vRealize Operations Manager node as a virtual appliance in the consolidated cluster.

3

After you deploy the virtual appliance for the master node of the vRealize Operations Manager analytics cluster, enable its administration role in the cluster.

4

After you deploy the master node in analytics cluster, use the vSphere Web Client to deploy the virtual appliance for the remote collector for the Consolidated SDDC. You deploy a remote collector to forward data from the vCenter Server instance to the analytics cluster .

5

After you deploy the virtual appliance for the remote collector node, configure the settings of the remote collector and connect it to the analytics cluster.

6

After you deploy the virtual appliances for the analytics cluster node and for the remote collector node, start the analytics cluster.

7

After you deploy and start vRealize Operations Manager, you assign a valid license.

8

After you start vRealize Operations Manager and assign it a license, join the remote collector node into a collector group for adapter resiliency in the cases where the collector experiences network interruption or becomes unavailable.
