Redirect log information from the edge services gateways, universal distributed logical router and load balancer in Region A to vRealize Log Insight in Region A.

Log in to vCenter Server by using the vSphere Web Client.

Open a Web browser and go to https://mgmt01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local/vsphere-client.

Log in using the following credentials.

On the NSX Edges page, select the NSX Manager instance from the NSX Manager drop-down menu.

Configure the log forwarding on each edge service gateway of Management and Compute NSX Managers instances.

On the NSX Edge device page, click the Manage tab, click Settings, and click Configuration.

In the Details pane, click Change next to Syslog servers.

In the Edit Syslog Servers Configuration dialog box, configure the following settings and click OK.

The vRealize Log Insight user interface starts showing log data in the NSX-vSphere-Overview dashboard available under the VMware - NSX-vSphere group of content pack dashboards.
