After all the deployment tasks are ready, you must configure the NSX logical network. 

To configure the NSX logical network, you perform the following tasks:

Configure the Segment ID allocation.

Configure the VXLAN networking.

Configure the transport zone.

Log in to vCenter Server by using the vSphere Web Client.

Open a Web browser and go to https://mgmt01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local/vsphere-client.

Log in using the following credentials.

Configure the Segment ID allocation.

In the Navigator, click Networking & Security.

Click Installation, click Logical Network Preparation, and click Segment ID.

Select 172.16.11.65 from the NSX Manager drop-down menu.

Configure the VXLAN networking.

Click the Host Preparation tab.

Under VXLAN, click Not Configured on the SFO01-Mgmt01 row, enter the following settings, and click OK.

Configure the transport zone.

a

On the Installation page, click the Logical Network Preparation tab and click Transport Zones.

Select 172.16.11.65 from the NSX Manager drop-down menu.

Click the Add New Transport zone icon.

In the New Transport Zone dialog box, enter the following settings and click OK.
