The first step in deploying load balancing for the Platform Services Controller is to deploy the edge services gateway.

Log in to vCenter Server by using the vSphere Web Client.

Open a Web browser and go to https://mgmt01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local/vsphere-client.

Log in using the following credentials.

Click the Add icon tab to create an NSX Edge.

Enable HA logging.

In the Navigator, click NSX Edges.

Click Change in the HA Configuration window.

Select the Enable Logging checkbox and click OK.

Enable the Load Balancer service.

In the Navigator, click NSX Edges.

Click the Manage tab, click the Load Balancer tab, click Global Configuration, and click Edit.

The Edit load balancer global configuration dialog box appears.
