Using Java Management Extensions (JMX)

You can use the Java Management Extensions (JMX) with vFabric SQLFire for additional administrative and monitoring capability.

Basic JMX monitoring can be tightly integrated into SQLFire member processes. You can configure either locators and/or servers to automatically start a JMX manager process if necessary when the member starts.

As an alternative, if you need to provide HTTP access for monitoring SQLFire MBeans, you can run a standalone JMX agent with MX4J.
